What Turnly is for

Running a queue for a lawful, licensed business with a physical place customers visit. Nothing else.

Never allowed

• Anything illegal where you operate.
• Adult or sexual services; escort or companionship services.
• Any service involving minors in an unsafe or sexual context.
• Human trafficking, forced labour, or selling or “transferring” workers.
• Unlicensed recruitment, or visa and job-placement schemes.
• Weapons, drugs or gambling.
• Hate or extremist groups.
• Pretending to be a government body.

Businesses in these categories cannot sign up: Adult or sexual services; Escort or companionship services; Weapons, drugs or gambling.

These kinds of business are reviewed by a person before going live and work under stricter limits (no pre-visit questions, no AI helper, every text change reviewed):

• Government services

How you may not use it

• As a way to message people. You cannot write your own messages to customers; the only messages are fixed ones about their ticket.
• To collect personal details beyond the short allowed questions. Never ask for age, date of birth, nationality, ID or passport numbers, religion, health details or photos.
• To advertise, to contact people after their visit, or to build a contact list.
• To publish contact details, links, or invitations to contact someone privately in your business name, services or answers.
• To get around a suspension, a review, or a customer’s STOP.

What we do about it

• Everything you type that customers can read is checked automatically, and by a person when flagged. Flagged text is not shown until approved.
• Anyone can report a business without an account. Reports about child safety, trafficking or violence pause the business’s public QR codes immediately while we review.
• We suspend or ban accounts that break this policy, preserve evidence, and report to the authorities where the law requires or safety demands.
